Ingredients:

- 3/4 Cup of Cornmeal
- 1 1/4 Cup of Flour
- 1/4 Cup of Sugar
- 5 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
- 3/4 Teaspoons of Salt
- 1 Cup of Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tablespoon of Crisco or butter
Directions:
- Mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- Sift into a bowl
- Add milk, well beaten egg, and melted Crisco/butter
- Spread in a pan and bake for 20 minutes at 400º
